400 delegates to attend Telecom 2008 Congress
LAHORE:
More than 400 delegates from different parts of the country
and the world are getting registration for participating in
Pakistan's
first global telecommunication congress, TeleCom' 2008, which
will start from April 29 and continue till April 30 in
Karachi. This was revealed in an information that was received here
on Tuesday.

which is taking its mapping and navigation experiences to the

NetSol signs accord for e-learning

The NetSol Technologies Limited has signed an agreement for
computer-based training with a public sector organization in
Pakistan.
This contract is the continuation of earlier contracts signed
by the NetSol with other public sector organizations in recent
past.

including Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 and Visual
Studio 2008 in
Pakistan.
This was announced by Kamal Ahmed, country manager of
Microsoft Pakistan and Sherif Siddik, regional director North
Africa, East Mediterranean and Pakistan in a joint press
conference held at a local hotel.

Acer
overtakes Dell in notebook PC shipments
LAHORE: Results from Display Search's Quarterly Notebook PC
shipment and Forecast Report reveal that in fourth quarter
2007 Acer has overtaken Dell for the number-two spot, jumping
to 5.25 million units from just 3.11 million in the same
quarter of the previous year, and achieving a 15.9 percent
market share.
